Is an After-Hours Telehealth Certificate Legally Valid?
Yes. The legal validity of a certificate depends entirely on whether it was issued by an AHPRA-registered GP following a genuine real-time consultation, not on what time of day it was issued. A certificate from OMC Health at 8 pm on a Wednesday carries exactly the same legal weight as one issued at 10 am on a Monday.
