OMC Health charges one flat fee per certificate type, no subscriptions, no booking fees, and no surprise charges. Payment is taken securely at the time of booking and automatically refunded in full if your doctor determines that a certificate isn't clinically appropriate.

Every certificate requires a real-time phone consultation with a GP. There is no questionnaire-only path. You choose your preferred mode when you book, and your doctor will decide what is clinically appropriate.
Add extra options to your certificate request
Some requests may need additional documentation or cover circumstances beyond a standard certificate. Optional add-ons are charged in addition to your selected certificate price and only apply when you choose them.
University form completion
+4.95 AUD
Select this add-on if your university, college or education provider requires its own medical, special consideration or supporting form in addition to your certificate. The doctor can complete the form where clinically appropriate.
Multi-day certificate
+4.95 AUD
Select this add-on if you are requesting a certificate covering more than one day. The requested period will be discussed during your consultation, with the final duration determined by the doctor's clinical assessment.
Backdated certificate request
+9.95 AUD
Select this add-on if you are requesting a certificate relating to a date before your consultation. The doctor will assess whether backdating is clinically appropriate. Selecting this option does not guarantee a backdated certificate.
Add-on pricing note
Add-on fees are separate from your selected medical certificate price and are added to your booking total only when selected. Your total price is shown before payment. Paying for an add-on does not guarantee a particular certificate duration, backdated date or university form outcome. Final details remain subject to the doctor's clinical assessment.

How Payment Works
Payment is processed securely through Stripe and accepts Visa, Mastercard, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. You're charged once, at the time of booking, not after your certificate is approved. This reflects the cost of the consultation itself, which happens regardless of the outcome. If your doctor determines a certificate isn't clinically appropriate, you receive a full, automatic refund (see our refund policy below).
Our Refund Policy
If your treating GP determines, following your consultation, that a certificate is not clinically appropriate to issue, you are automatically refunded in full to your original payment method. A Fitness for Work certificate involves a more detailed assessment of your current work capacity, job duties and any restrictions or modified duties that may be required. The doctor may need to consider factors such as lifting, driving, shift length or safety-critical tasks before deciding whether you are fit to return to work. This additional assessment is reflected in the higher fee.
No. OMC Health is a private, fixed-fee telehealth service and does not bulk bill Medicare. OMC Health consultation fees are paid privately and are not processed as Medicare bulk-billed services. Other telehealth providers may offer Medicare-eligible or bulk-billed consultations depending on the service, patient eligibility and provider billing arrangements.
